June FYLSE 2017

The June FYLSE is around the corner and it can feel like there are a million rule statements to learn! Many FYLSE prep sites will tell you "memorize those rule statements" and although they are correct, sometimes the best way to memorize these is to write them into essays. There are hundreds of FYLSE essay's that you can write to get these rule statements memorized. In order to concrete these statements in your head: Watch one, do one, and then teach one. If you just read and memorize your rule statements you may be missing crucial elements. In order to really get your rule statements down you have to UNDERSTAND how they fit into the puzzle.

Also, when writing those essay's don't forget; FORMAT. Format is a big piece of the essay! The graders don't have time to go through messy essay's and search for your points. The easier it is for the graders to identify your points straight out of the gate the better grade you will get. Making sure that you underline elements in your rule statements and in your analysis will ensure that your points are all accounted for.
